Boher Garden & Amenities Dev Group CLG

A small village working within their community to furnish the first “all inclusive” primary school.

The small village of Boher, located in county Tipperary has a population of around 500 people. The group have been very active in the community supporting fundraising initiatives for various local projects, with particular focus on the local primary school.

Boher Primary School is now recognised as one of the first ‘all inclusive’ schools welcoming pupils with special needs and providing a supportive and specialised experience. Fundraising has seen the group build a pre-school unit on their grounds, the development of a sensory garden and the provision of IT equipment for the school.

The group worked with our CFI team to secure funding that will be used to complete much a needed amenity area that works for all children in the school.

“After meeting with our Client Relationship Manager, we were sold on all things Community Finance Ireland. She talked us through every step of the process, simplifying any finance jargon and speaking in terms that we found easy to understand. The quick decision meant that we were able to begin work on our new centre without delay. An all-round excellent experience.”

Nollaig Barry, Director Crusheen Community Centre
